WWI enlisted men's uniform with cartridge belt and gas mask in carrier, wool leggings, and brown shoes. On the right is an officer's Army Air Corps uniform with cap, gloves, red wound stripe, and wings. There were worn by Lt. Albert Troxel.
The second floor hall is a treasure trove of uniforms.
We have a draft harness used in WWI to enable horses to pull artillery, wagons, and other equipment. This harness was made by the Studebaker Brothers Manufacturing Company of South Bend, Indiana. It is displayed on a wooden harness rack. Studebaker made harnesses between 1869 and 1919.
